For anyone new to the world of property, the process can feel overwhelming and a little intimidating. That’s why events like the SMDC Good Life Expo 2025 matter, they give curious visitors a chance to learn, explore, and experience real estate in a way that’s not only informative but also genuinely fun and engaging.
SM Development Corporation (SMDC) opened the expo with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held from November 21 to 23 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. The event was led by Jessica Bianca Sy, vice president and head of Design, Innovation, and Strategy at SMDC; together with Glenna Galupo, vice president and head of SMDC Heights; Marking Que, senior vice president and head of Customer Support; Grace Sta. Ana, executive vice president and head of Core Operations; Ana Carpio, president of SMDC Services Corporation; Vince Abejo, vice president and head of SMDC Symphony Homes; and Susan Nicdao, vice president and head of SMDC Nature.

The three-day expo invited guests to explore experiential stations, play interactive games, enjoy lifestyle pop-ups, and visit property spotlights featuring SMDC Heights, SMDC Nature, and SMDC Symphony. Guests could even tour their future home through augmented reality, stepping into virtual communities designed for comfort, accessibility, and sustainability.
Sy explained the goal behind their approach, pointing to how the company aims to support different paths people take when choosing a place to live. “Our vision has always been simple: to give more Filipinos the chance to live better. Through our lifestyle segments, we’re able to match people with homes that truly fit their goals—whether that means progress in the city, balance in the suburbs, or a nurturing space for their family.”

For those who found a property they loved but needed help with the budget, the event offered exclusive deals and on-the-spot loan approvals through BDO and Chinabank, helping buyers move forward with confidence and convenience. Visitors could also start planning their interiors with SMDC partner brands like IKEA, Our Home, SM Home, and Toy Kingdom, and explore the Eco Market, where sustainable and locally crafted products highlighted the brand’s commitment to community-centered living.
Guests also enjoyed the lighter side of the expo, from snapping photos with glam bots and themed zones inspired by SMDC communities to joining booth games and hourly raffles for SM Gift Certificates and exclusive merchandise. And when it was time for a break, refreshment lounges offered free premium coffee, wellness juices, and ice cream, adding simple comforts to a full day of exploring.
Alongside homebuying talks, bank consultations, and exclusive Expo-only deals, each night closed with performances from Martin Nievera, DILAW, and HALE, plus front acts and Good Life dancer showcases that kept the momentum steady throughout the weekend. In the end, the expo offered a clear picture of what “good living” can look like, a practical, engaging, and enjoyable way to explore the journey toward finding a home.
