Cops seize P31 M worth of illegal drugs, arrest 369 suspects in Davao region in November

Operatives of the Police Regional Office 11 in Davao Region seized around P31.4 million worth of illegal drugs in a monthlong operation in November, a police official disclosed on Wednesday, Nov. 3.
Police Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete, director of Davao regional police said, the series of anti-illegal drugs operations also resulted in the arrest of 77 High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and 292 Street-Level Individuals (SLIs) involved in the illegal drug trade.
“There is no safe place for those who continue to peddle illegal drugs in the region. We will find you, arrest you, and hold you accountable. We will remain firm in our stand to protect our communities and keep Davao Region drug-free,” said Rosete.
Citing the data for November, Rosete said a total of 4,592.44793 grams of shabu worth ₱31,228,645.924 and 1,259.7255 grams of marijuana leaves valued at ₱151,167.06 were confiscated.
During the collation of data, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) emerged as the top-performing unit with a total of ₱16,452,098.96 worth of illegal drugs seized and 190 arrests.
Following this is the Davao del Norte Police Provincial Office (DNPPO), which recorded ₱7,995,915.00 worth of confiscated drugs and 89 arrests.
