During the grand reveal held at the Diamond Hotel in Pasay City last Nov. 26, Sue flaunted not just her sexy bod but also her playful personality as she performed various songs while the iconic six 'Street Siren' layout flashed on the screen.
In a short Q&A, Sue shared that she cried when she found out she would be the newest calendar girl for GSM.
"I remember the exact moment. I was in the condo, and my handler called me. Umiyak talaga ako, as tears fell from my eyes because I was so, so happy. This is something that I prayed for. God gives us surprises in the most unexpected moments. When they told me the concept is magiging the siren, natuwa talaga ako because it embodies strength and confidence, and also authenticity na talaga namang those are the values that I uphold. I’ve worked for a long time, para ma-embrace ko talaga over the years,” Sue said.
Being part of the brand for quite some time, Sue has been manifesting and teasing the bosses about when she will become their calendar girl.
"Actually nag-ma-manifest ako kaya siguro nabigay ito sa akin ni Lord kasi ang daming nag-ma-manifest nito for me. I've been with Ginebra for a long time and matagal ko na itong nililigawan sa mga boss ko Lagi kong sinasabi sa kanila, "Boss kailan ba ako magka calendar? (Honestly, I manifested it—maybe the Lord granted it because so many people were manifesting it for me as well. I’ve been with Ginebra for a long time, and I’ve been asking my bosses about it for years. I always told them, ‘Boss, when will I be in the calendar)," Sue shared.
Channeling a street-siren vibe, Sue said she kept her shoot preparations simple because she didn’t want to overdo it—she wanted to stay true to the version of herself her fans already love.
"Ayoko kasi mag-overprepare ako kasi I still want to be and look like myself, konting diet lang and medyo naging wake up call ko rin siya to live a healthier lifestyle kasi I came from a sprain earlier this year, ito na yung naging back on track ko with my health. (I don't want to over-prepare because I still want to be and look like myself, just a little diet, and it was a bit of a wake-up call for me to live a healthier lifestyle because I came from a sprain earlier this year. This is what got me back on track with my health)," Sue said.

Dominic Roque supports Sue
Not new to sexy projects, the press couldn't help but ask what Sue's boyfriend, Dominic Roque, thinks of her latest milestone.
"Sobrang proud siya, kanina niya pa ako inaasikaso kasi I'm feeling under the weather din. Binigyan niya ako ng vitamins and binilhan niya rin ako ng turmeric kasi nagperform ako maraming siyang paalala sa akin before going here. (He's so proud, he's been taking care of me for a while now because I'm feeling under the weather, too. He's giving me vitamins, and he also bought me turmeric because I performed. He gave me a lot of reminders before going here.)"
According to the actress, Dominic hasn't seen the photos yet, but he is supportive of her decision to do the project.
"Hindi siya ganun ''I'm for it'' pero this is something that I really wanted, hindi siya nangengealam sa mga bagay na gusto ko and very supportive siya. And yes hindi pa niya nakikita yung photos pero I'm sure matutuwa siya kasi girlfriend niya yan oh!" Sue proudly said while pointing at her photos. (He’s not the type to say, ‘I’m all for it,’ but he knows it’s something I really wanted. He doesn’t get in the way of what I want to do, and he’s very supportive. And no, he hasn’t seen the photos yet, but I’m sure he’ll be happy—because, well, I’m his girlfriend)
Sue on Andrea Brillantes
Weeks before Sue's calendar girl reveal, Andrea Brillantes was also introduced as the newest calendar girl for another liquor brand.
During the interview, Sue mentioned that she is proud of what Andrea has achieved in her career.
"Actually hindi kami magkatapat, we are women uplifting each other, we are women, different types of women, various shapes, and we all represent someone else who is watching, and I'm proud of her really for what she's achieved in her launch also, and sana proud din siya sa ate sue niya. (Not at all the opposite—we’re women uplifting each other. We’re different kinds of women, with various shapes and stories, and each of us represents someone out there who’s watching. I’m really proud of her for what she achieved with her launch, and I hope she’s just as proud of her Ate Sue.)"
