Illegal drugs, guns seized after arrest of 2 drug suspects in Davao City

Government anti-narcotics authorities seized P554,600 worth of illegal drugs and guns following the arrest of two high-value target (HVT) drug personalities during an anti-drug operation in Davao City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said.
In a statement, the PDEA said that alias “Ric” was apprehended while selling one vape containing marijuana oil worth P4,000 to an undercover agent while his cohort alias “Jack’’ was also nabbed at during the operation at around 2:50 p.m. in Dakudao Compound located at J.P. Laurel Avenue.
“Seized from the suspects were five vapes containing suspected marijuana oil, nine vacuum-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing approximately 455 grams, one transparent plastic sachet containing suspected dried marijuana leaves, six transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately seventy grams, drug paraphernalia, marked buy-bust money, one unit M4 Carbine, one unit 9mm Luger, and live ammunitions,’’ the PDEA noted.
In Cavite, government anti-narcotics authorities also confiscated P680,000 worth of shabu following the arrest of two drug suspects during a buy-bust operation in General Trias City.
The PDEA said that the suspects with aliases “Ayman’’ and “Wallid’’ were collared at around 9:30 p.m. in Barangay Pasong Kawayan II.
More or less 100 grams of suspected shabu worth P680,000 were seized from the suspects and will be subjected to chemical analysis, the PDEA said.
