Man shot dead over alleged bullying in Tondo

A 36-year-old man was shot dead for allegedly bullying along Esmeralda Street in Barangay 38, Tondo, Manila, shortly past midnight on Monday, Dec. 1.
According to barangay officials, the victim was reportedly on his way to the suspect’s residence when the suspect suddenly confronted him in an alley and fired at him four times.
The victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
In a statement to the police, the suspect’s live-in partner claimed that the victim had been repeatedly bullying the suspect, which allegedly fueled the tension between them.
Police investigation further revealed that the victim was wanted in connection with several previous shooting incidents.
Authorities are continuing their probe into the case.
