Carla Abellana's post sparks engagement rumors

Is Kapuso star Carla Abellana engaged to her mysterious boyfriend?

The question arose after Carla shared a photo of her hand with a ring, which her rumored boyfriend was holding. While there was no official announcement of their engagement, Carla's celebrity friends speculated that she and the mystery man had advanced their relationship to the next level.

In August, the actress confirmed rumors that she was dating someone. However, the actress has not revealed the identity of the special guy.

Carla captioned her post, "Jeremiah 29:11: 'For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

Celebrity friends and netizens congratulated Carla on her rumored engagement. Some comments:

In October, Carla responded to rumors that she was getting married again.

"Kung totoo man po 'yun o hindi, of course, that's part of my private life, I would like to keep it private. I invoke my right to self-incrimination, so I refuse to say yes, I refuse to say no," said Carla, according to GMA News.

"That's coming from a person who's very wounded and broken. Of course, I'm a different person today than I was before or yesterday," she said. "Ayoko na po ng showbiz."

Carla added, "Kung feel ko pong exclusive, exclusive po. Pero 'pag hindi po, gusto ko mag-enjoy, depende kung sino pong ka-jive ko. Basta maayos na tao. Wala pong tinatago."

In 2021, Carla married actor Tom Rodriguez. But in 2022, the celebrity couple revealed their divorce.
