The “Trillion Peso March” against corruption held at the Provincial Capitol compound in Barangay Guinhawa, Malolos, Bulacan on Sunday, Nov. 30, ended peacefully.
This was confirmed by Lt. Col. Rommel E. Geneblazo, Malolos City police chief, who oversaw area security and traffic assistance during the organized march at around 9:00 a.m.
Geneblazo said the activity was coordinated with Artikulo Onse, headed by its Bulacan president, Manuel Mendoza, and drew more than 100 members from various sectors who advocated transparency, accountability, and good governance.
Police personnel were deployed to ensure the safety of participants and the general public, manage traffic flow around the Capitol compound, and maintain peace and order throughout the event.
The station’s proactive measures contributed to the smooth conduct of the march which concluded peacefully and without any untoward incidents.
The Malolos police chief reaffirmed the station’s commitment to upholding public safety and supporting lawful assemblies, stating that PNP Malolos remains steadfast in its duty to safeguard the community while respecting citizens' rights to express their advocacies.
