2 men yield P408K shabu in Marikina buy-bust

Two men, including a newly identified high value individual (HVI), were arrested for possession of illegal drugs worth P408,000 during a buy-bust operation in Marikina City on Thursday, Nov. 27.

The Marikina City Police Station identified the suspects as “Boyet,” 41, a newly identified HVI, and “Aldrin,” 41. They were arrested following an operation conducted by the Marikina CPS–Station Drug Enforcement Unit under Col. Jenny DC Tecson, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), in Barangay Fortune.

Seized from their possession were a total of four sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 60 grams.

The two suspects are currently detained at the Marikina City Police Station custodial facility and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
