Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said that in just one month, the city government was recognized by the DOH for being a Universal Health Care Integration Site, achieving a 100 percent functionality rating for the Local Field Health Services Information System for 2024, demonstrating good health reforms and practices, and being included in the 20-year Influenza Surveillance program for continuous monitoring of influenza.
Olivarez said the awards highlighted the city government’s commitment to expanding accessible healthcare and ensuring high-quality services in all local health facilities.
He added that the recognitions reflect the dedication and hard work of city health workers, who continue to serve residents with compassion and professionalism.
The mayor also said that it inspires the city government to push harder in providing Parañaque residents with the quality healthcare they deserve.
Olivarez also assured that the city government will continue working closely with the DOH and other partners to improve community health outcomes further and deliver responsive, patient-centered services.
