NOVALUXIA: Empowering communities in the heart of the digital economy
In an age where technology continues to redefine livelihoods, NOVALUXIA is carving a distinct path—one that begins in local communities and extends toward a more inclusive digital economy.
At the NOVALUXIA 2025 User Leadership Summit, barangay representatives, young entrepreneurs, mothers, and digital creators gathered to explore how technology can bridge growth, learning, and empowerment.
According to JR Cruz, NOVALUXIA’s Head of Marketing, the company’s vision is rooted in people, not platforms. “Our goal is to make sure that every Filipino—regardless of background—can access opportunities to learn, earn, and grow,” Cruz shared during the keynote. “Technology should not replace human capability; it should extend it.”
From tools to transformation
NOVALUXIA has partnered with nearly 100 barangays and trained over 3,000 individuals across Metro Manila and nearby provinces. These programs equip citizens with essential digital skills—from online entrepreneurship to content creation—enabling their meaningful participation in today’s digital marketplace.
Cruz emphasized that NOVALUXIA’s strength lies in its “user-participatory growth system”—a culture prioritizing collaboration, learning, and trust. “Platforms can be replicated,” Cruz noted, “but trust and culture are built person by person.”
Women at the core of digital inclusion
The summit launched the NOVA-LIGHT Women Empowerment Program, which offers digital training and flexible income opportunities specifically for mothers and homemakers. The company also introduced the NOVA Leadership Institute for community leaders and the Creator Incubation Hub for aspiring digital creators.
A Three-Year Social Growth Vision
NOVALUXIA unveiled its 2026–2028 Strategic Vision, committing to:
Establish 100 Community User Centers across 50 cities nationwide.
Enable 1 million Filipino households to participate in the digital economy.
Train 5,000 community leaders and 1,000 creators.
Collaborate with local entrepreneurs through NOVA-SELECT.
In Cruz’s closing words: “Real growth is when ordinary people gain the power to change their own lives. That’s what NOVALUXIA is here for—to prove that technology, when guided by humanity, can uplift communities and build trust that lasts.”
