Effective January 1, 2026, dealerships currently under the management of ACMobility will transition to the Gateway Group and the Borromeo Motoring Group (BMG), both of whom are rich with automotive retail experience.
The Gateway Group will operate Honda Cars Makati, Cebu, Negros, Cagayan De Oro, and Alabang. The Borromeo Motoring Group (BMG) will manage Honda Cars Bacoor, Pasig, Mandaue, and Iloilo.
New subsidiary to drive direct dealership operations
On top of the appointment of the new dealer principals, HCPI also announces the plan to establish a new subsidiary which will operate Honda Cars Shaw. Through this initiative, Honda will elevate the overall customer experience across all dealerships nationwide.
This new endeavor will bring HCPI even closer to the market to meet customer needs and boost satisfaction to higher levels through enhancement of dealer operational efficiency throughout the network.
HCPI President, Ms. Rie Miyake, expressed immense confidence in these new developments. “In a combined effort, the new subsidiary and our new and existing dealer partners will drive forward and ensure that Honda’s profound dedication to customer satisfaction is fully realized.”
HCPI will secure approval from the government regulatory bodies and once approved, this strategic move is expected to begin in early 2026. This solidifies Honda’s commitment to their Filipino customers, promising sustainable and electrified mobility options while keeping at heart the customers’ desire for the “Joy of Driving.”
