Director Albert Langitan, the creative force steering CinePop!, emphasized that the entertaining platform is far from a destination for adult content.

Albert clarified that CinePop! is dedicated to providing a diverse range of engaging films and shows for vertical viewing that reflect artistic storytelling rather than anything explicit.

"We're not porn. Ours is not a porn site, and our stars do not show their genitals. But our concept revolves around the theme of eroticism," said the director during a press conference at their head office in Quezon City recently.

Albert emphasized the profound significance of intimacy in our lives, asserting that sex is an essential facet of the human experience. He articulated that a vibrant and fulfilling sex life acts as a cornerstone for sustaining a relationship, nurturing deeper connections, and enduring passion between partners. "Sex sells. Part yan ng pagiging tao. (That's part of being human.) It's essential to have a healthy sex life. If not, your relationship might be destroyed."

The director also makes a point of ensuring there is no exploitation of their stars during the shoot for CinePop!

"When it comes to exploitation, we avoid that. Before we shoot, we ask our stars about their limitations and parameters — walang sapilitan (We don't force them.) Kapag lumampas doon hindi na namin gagawin. May mga instances na biglang nagbabago ang isip nila. Sabi ko, 'Okay lang yun. No worries. Walang sapilitan. (If it goes beyond that, we won't do it. There are instances where they suddenly change their minds. I said, 'That's okay. No worries. Nothing's forced)," he said.

In hiring stars for CinePop!, Albert said the company is not particular about body type as long as they look good on camera.

"Of course lahat sila may kanya-kanyang dahilan bakit sila naghuhubad on screen. What's important is that we respect their decisions. Wala kaming judgment kahit sa body type. We accept all sizes as long as you look good in front of the camera, at magaling umarte. Welcome silang lahat sa CinePop! When selecting talent for CinePop!, Albert emphasizes that the company prioritizes charisma and presence over body type. As long as they shine on screen and captivate the audience, anyone can become a star in their eyes," he also said.

Apples Angeles, one of the stars of CinePop!, is known for her role in the series "Mansanas ni Eba," which is currently streaming on the platform. She mentioned that she now feels comfortable performing daring scenes with CinePop!, which she described as professional.

"Before we start filming, we practice. What I like about it is that the series is done professionally," she said. "The director asked me questions to make me comfortable during the shoot."

Apples opened up about her personal life before joining CinePop!. She had been in a relationship with a Filipino-Chinese businessman for 10 years before he passed away. Now, she runs a blog where she shares playful content and performs sexy dances, stating, "It's all about sensuality." She used to depend on her partner while he was alive, but after his passing, she learned to be independent and stronger.

On what she learned from doing daring scenes, Apples shared, "Kaya ko pala na mag-isa lang ako. I became liberated. Kaya ko pala na mailabas ang sarili ko at naintindihan din nila. Sa series nag-input ako ng mga experiences ko sa past relationships ko. Madugo ang love life ko. (I can handle being alone. I became liberated. I can express myself, and they understand me. In the series, I draw on my experiences from past relationships. My love life is bloody.)"
