Filinvest City celebrates Christmas through community and open spaces

Celebrating the holidays feels special when you are with family and friends in an open space where everyone can slow down, breathe, and enjoy the music, the lights, and the snacks along the way. This is exactly what Filinvest City hopes to inspire through its parks, creating simple gatherings that turn into memories people carry long after the season ends. With its 2025 theme, Celebrate Magical Christmas Moments, the city highlights how the season shines brightest when people come together, grounded in love and togetherness.
Held at Central Park in Alabang City, the 244-hectare flagship township of Filinvest Alabang Inc. was transformed into a festive wonderland, anchored by a towering Christmas tree and surrounded by snow-colored reindeer and crystal-shaped pine installations.

The holiday cheer continues with the Magical Light Spectacle, an immersive light show that began on November 22 and was followed by a fireworks display. The festivities carry on through the season with performances by Sunkissed Lola on November 29 and Earl Augustin on December 13, along with the Eats by the Park Food Bazaar, a gathering spot for sharing meals and memories with friends and family. For those joining the traditional Simbang Gabi and hoping their prayers and wishes are heard, the Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel sits just nearby this Christmas, offering a quiet space for reflection.
Reflecting on the spirit of the season, Don Ubaldo, head of Filinvest Townships, shared that the heart of the celebration lies not just in the lights, but in the sense of community it inspires. “What’s special about Christmas in Filinvest City is how people naturally gather here. Our parks and open spaces become places where everyone can slow down, connect, and just enjoy being with the people they love,” Ubaldo said.
In the end, Filinvest City brings the season back to what matters. Its parks and open spaces remind everyone that the most magical moments are the simple ones shared with the people they love. By opening its spaces for the community to gather and celebrate, the city turns its holiday lights into a shared and meaningful Christmas experience.
