Drug pusher nabbed in buy-bust

CEBU CITY – A drug suspect considered by the police as a high-value individual was arrested in Tagbilaran City, Bohol province.
Teodoro Tare, 45, was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Bohol Police Provincial Office past 6 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28.
Packs of suspected shabu worth P377,400 were seized from the suspect.
Police said the suspect has been allegedly involved in the illegal drugs trade since 2020.
The suspect was tagged as resposible for the proliferation of illegal drugs in the province’s third district.
Charges for violating Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the suspect, police said.
