A 67-year-old search and rescue instructor and dog trainer was collared on Thursday, Nov. 27, in Santo Tomas City, Batangas province for allegedly molesting a minor.
A report from the office of Mayor Tomas Mayor Arth Jhun Aguilar Marasigan identified the suspect as Red, widower, from Pandacan, Manila.
The suspect was the seventh most wanted person in Batangas.
He was apprehended on a warrant issued by City Prosecutor Jonathan M. Aldovino for three counts of lascivious conduct and rape case through sexual assault.
Marasigan lauded the police for arresting the suspect who allegedly abused the minor victim several times in Barangay San Vicente, Santo Tomas City.
"The city government at no time tolerates any criminal act against anyone especially women and children. We ensure that law and order are significantly enjoyed by our people any time of the day," Marasigan said.
