QCPD vows maximum tolerance, zero violence for Trillion Peso March II
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) vowed to exercise maximum tolerance during the Trillion Peso March on Sunday, Nov. 30, at the People Power Monument.
“The QCPD will exercise maximum tolerance to ensure the rights of participants are respected but will also enforce zero tolerance against any form of violence, illegal activities, or disruption of public order," Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio, acting district director, said on Thursday, Nov. 27.
The QCPD will deploy over 2,000 police officers assigned to key areas and routes to manage the expected volume of participants.
In addition, more than 1,000 personnel from the Quezon City local government will provide support in crowd management, traffic control, and medical assistance.
The QCPD also held a coordination meeting with the city government and the organizers to discuss security measures for the event.
Participants are urged to follow lawful instructions strictly, avoid bringing prohibited items, remain vigilant, and immediately report any suspicious individuals or activities to the authorities or call the E911/QC Helpline at 122.
