POCO launches the POCO F8 Series

POCO has officially unveiled its POCO F8 Series, marking the brand’s next major step in performance-driven smartphone innovation. Set against the vibrant coast of Bali, the launch event gathered media and partners from around the world for the debut of POCO’s newest flagship devices: the POCO F8 Pro and the POCO F8 Ultra.
Ultrapower Ascended is more than a slogan for POCO — it’s a promise to a new wave of tech enthusiasts seeking both power and value. POCO emphasized its mission to deliver flagship-level performance and long-term value to a new generation of curious users. During the launch, POCO announced a major collaboration with Bose. POCO and Bose, with their shared commitment to high performance and innovation, aim to redefine the mobile audio experience by introducing clearer, richer, and more immersive sound across everyday use cases.
The POCO F8 series was not the only line that launched today. Alongside these flagship smartphones, POCO expanded its ecosystem with two new powerful tablets: the POCO Pad X1 and the POCO Pad M1.
POCO’s Vision for the F8 Series

Lou also noted that the F8 series is designed to meet the expectations of a more demanding, diverse audience. “As POCO enters the premium segment, the brand will remain committed to delivering high-quality and high-value products that are within everyone's reach,” Lou added.

The POCO F8 Pro is equipped with a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel built for clarity and responsiveness in any setting. It features a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 3500 nits, and up to 2560Hz instant touch sampling for ultra-fast input. With support for 68 billion colors, DCI-P3, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, the display is engineered for vibrant, accurate visuals across gaming, streaming, and everyday use.

Enhanced by Gorilla Glass 7i and Wet Touch Display 2.0, the screen remains usable even with moisture—an important upgrade for tropical climates like Indonesia. Whether under harsh sunlight or during sudden rainfall, the F8 Pro maintains dependable brightness and touch sensitivity.
A Camera System Designed for Versatility
The POCO F8 Pro features a triple-camera system built for real-world reliability. Its 50MP main camera uses the Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS and a large 1/1.55” sensor size for detailed, stable shots in varying lighting conditions. A 50MP telephoto camera with a natural 60mm focal length delivers clean portrait compression, while an 8MP ultra-wide camera captures expansive scenes with ease. The 20MP front camera provides crisp selfies and clear video calls. Overall, the camera setup is designed to perform consistently across everyday and creative shooting scenarios.
Redefining Mobile Audio with Bose
"By combining Bose's expertise in acoustic engineering with POCO's innovation in design and technology, POCO F8 Series achieves a level of clarity and depth that redefines what's possible in mobile sound," said Nick Smith, President of the Audio Technology Business and Chief Strategy Officer at Bose. Audio takes center stage on the POCO F8 Ultra, which features an advanced mobile audio system powered by Sound by Bose Technology. Bose, renowned globally for acoustic engineering, worked closely with POCO’s hardware and design teams to develop a premium triple-speaker system with 2.1-channel architecture. This brilliant idea overcame the space limitations of compact smartphone design.
For the first time on a mobile device, users can experience rich bass, clear vocals, detailed sound, and an immersive soundstage, elevating everything from gaming to music playback or entertainment viewing.
Experience Enhancements
The F8 Pro is powered by a large 6210mAh battery with 100W HyperCharge, enabling rapid top-ups, and 22.5W reverse charging for powering accessories when needed. This ensures full-day use across work, travel, social media, gaming, or content creation.

The device also integrates several refined quality-of-life features, including an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, symmetrical stereo speakers tuned by Bose with Dolby Atmos support, Hi-Res and Hi-Res Wireless audio certification, IP68 dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi 7 capability, dual-SIM flexibility, and Xiaomi HyperOS 3 for smoother, smarter system navigation.
POCO Pad X1 and POCO Pad M1
POCO also unveiled two new tablets designed to strengthen its growing ecosystem. The POCO Pad X1 focuses on immersive performance, powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. It delivers stable 120 FPS in top-tier games and features an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate. Its 8850mAh battery with 45W charging enables extended use, while quad speakers with Dolby Atmos provide a rich, elevated audio experience. Xiaomi HyperOS brings AI-driven productivity tools and seamless cross-device collaboration.
POCO Pad M1 and POCO Pad X1
For larger-screen entertainment, the POCO Pad M1 offers a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and quad speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos. Its volume can be boosted by up to 300%, creating room-filling sound even in noisy environments. With a massive 12,000mAh battery and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, the Pad M1 is engineered for long-lasting entertainment and smooth multitasking under Xiaomi HyperOS.
