Content creators Lenie Aycardo and Hajie Alejandro, best known as Team Hanie, never expected to go big on their online journey.
Now with a whopping 8.5 million followers on TikTok and 2.7 million followers on Facebook, this power couple is an inspiration to many other content creators.
At the Big Creator Expo 2025 held at the Enderun Tent in Taguig, Lenie and Hajie shared advice on creating content.
"Sa amin ni Lenie kapag gumagawa kami ni content hindi namin iniisip kung ano dapat yung maging itsura namin and kung ano dapat yung isipin sa amin ng mga tao. Hindi na kami nag-o-overthink, diretso shoot na lang kami and we make sure na meron kami connection with our followers and sinasami namin sila sa journey namin," Hajie said.
(When Lenie and I create content, we don't think about what we should look like or what people should think of us. We don't overthink it, we just shoot straight, and we make sure we have a connection with our followers, and we include them in our journey.)
Hajie also mentioned how they always listen to their followers' suggestions.
"Beyond that, sinasama namin sila sa mga behind-the-scene namin," he added.
(Beyond that, we include them in our behind-the-scenes work.)
Lenie highlighted the importance of having fun doing what they do.
"Seryoso kami sa ginagawa namin pero hindi talaga nawawala yung pagiging masaya namin and syempre we don't pressure ourselves," Lenie explained.
(We are serious about what we do, but we never lose the idea of us having fun, and of course, we don't pressure ourselves.)
The couple also encouraged aspiring content creators to stay consistent.
"Para sa mga starting content creators maging consistent lang sila sa kung ano yung ginagawa nila and huwag nila gayahin yung content na ginagawa ng iba kasi meron silang sariling talent, and content na mailalabas," Lenie shared.
(For those just starting, they should just be consistent in what they do and not copy others, because they have their own talent and content to share)
Content creators Cha and Denz share the same mindset.
Both admitted that their newfound career as content creator changed their lives for good.
"Maraming nabago sa buhay naming dalawa, naging bread and butter namin yung content creation, and natutulungan namin yung family and friends namin dahil sa content creation," Denz mentioned.
(A lot has changed in both of our lives, content creation has become our bread and butter, and we are able to help our family and friends because of content creation.)
Cha shared that content creation helped him a lot in getting out of his comfort zone.
"Syempre sa akin mas malaki yung nabago kasi hindi talaga ako nagsasalita before sa mga content niya [Denz] pero ngayon na-e-enjoy ko na. Nagiging confident ako with the help of my partner," Cha said.
(Of course, for me, the change is huge because I don't really speak my mind particularly in Denz’s content but now I’m having a blast. I’ve become more confident with my partner’s help)
