Job seekers can apply for 7,092 local and overseas positions at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 92nd anniversary job fair on Dec. 1 at the Pasay City Astrodome.
The DOLE said the event, held in partnership with the Pasay City Government, aims to connect Metro Manila workers with career opportunities.
The fair is also supported by the city’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and coincides with Pasay City’s 162nd Foundation Day celebration.
Participating government agencies include the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
Other agencies joining the event are the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Social Security System (SSS), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and the Philippine National Police (PNP).
These agencies will provide attendees with access to certifications, training assistance, and other programs alongside the employment opportunities.
A total of 43 local companies from the business process outsourcing (BPO), wholesale and retail trade, transport and logistics, manufacturing, and hospitality sectors will offer positions such as cashiers, merchandisers, sales associates, and administrative assistants.
Construction, health and wellness companies will also participate, offering openings for service crews, kitchen staff, and customer service representatives.
Four overseas employers will join the fair, offering positions for plumbers, repair and mechanic assistants, electricians, carpenters, ordinary seamen, and machine operators, providing Filipinos opportunities to work abroad.
Attendees are advised to bring copies of resumes, diplomas, transcripts of records, certificates of employment, and training certificates to ensure faster application processing.
