The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday, Nov. 27 announced that 40,692 out of 45,192 examinees passed the Nurses Licensure Examination held this month in 21 testing centers across the Philippines.
The top scorers of the exam are Johannah Marie Gerardo Acevedo and George Wilson Tan Escordial, both from West Visayas State University-La Paz, who each earned a rating of 93.80 percent.
PRC said registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Cards and Certificates of Registration will begin online on Dec. 23.
Examinees must visit PRC website and follow instructions for initial registration.
Registrants are required to present the downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or “Panunumpa ng Propesyonal,” notice of admission for identification, two passport-sized colored photos with white background and complete name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope.
Successful examinees must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new nurses will be announced later.
