Nearly 3,000 Filipino workers received over P756 million in compensation from companies found liable for labor violations in the third quarter of 2025, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said Wednesday, Nov. 26.
The department’s attached agency, the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), reported that P756,909,734.81 was distributed to 2,907 worker-complainants from July to September.
The payments covered claims for illegal dismissal, unpaid wages, non-payment of benefits, and other violations of labor standards laws.
The Commission assured that all releases followed strict financial rules and procedures to guarantee transparency, timely payment, and accountability.
DOLE said the accomplishment underscores the government’s active role in protecting workers’ rights and enforcing labor judgments.
It also reflects the department’s commitment to fair labor administration and support for the Marcos administration’s efforts to uphold workers’ rights and maintain industrial peace.
The NLRC reminded workers and employers to transact only with authorized offices and avoid fixers or intermediaries when processing claims or enforcing labor decisions.
Affected workers may reach the NLRC through its regional and satellite offices nationwide or visit its official website at https://nlrc.dole.gov.ph for verified contact numbers and other channels.
