The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as "Jayson," 39. He was arrested by the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit at around 10:55 p.m. along Vietnam Street in Barangay San Dionisio.
Recovered from the suspect were 60 grams of shabu, along with a .45-caliber pistol with its magazine and ammunition.
He is now detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility and faces charges for violations of Sections 5 and II of Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
