Caloocan City gov't issues traffic advisory for Bonifacio Day

The Caloocan City government announced several road closures on Saturday, Nov. 29, to give way to activities for the 162nd birth anniversary of national hero Gat Andres Bonifacio.
The following major roads will be temporarily closed to motorists starting at 11:00 p.m.
• 10th Avenue, from Rizal Avenue to Monumento Circle (both sides)
• EDSA Southbound, from B. Serrano to Monumento
• Samson Road, from Dagohoy to Monumento Circle (both sides)
• MacArthur Highway Southbound, from Pinagtipunan to Monumento
To minimize congestion, the city government released alternative routes for motorists.

Vehicles coming from MacArthur Highway and heading toward EDSA, Rizal Avenue, or Sangandaan are advised to:
Turn right at Pinagtipunan then take Governor Pascual, turn left at Araneta Avenue, then turn right at Caimito Road, turn right at Samson Road, then left at Heroes del 96, turn left at 10th Avenue, then turn right toward Rizal Avenue.
Motorists bound for EDSA may go straight and turn left at B. Serrano toward their destination.
All affected roads are expected to reopen by 12:00 noon on Sunday, Nov. 30.
City officials encouraged the public to plan their trips accordingly and thanked motorists for their patience and cooperation.
