More than 2,000 Police Regional Office-3 personnel will assist the National Capital Region Police Office in securing the Trillion Peso March 2.0 in Metro Manila on Nov. 30.
PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said 2,000 make up the Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) contingent and 133 personnel were designated for direct augmentation to NCRPO.
PRO-3 has placed 1,139 personnel on alert and conducted a Civil Disturbance Management Simulation Exercise to enhance tactical readiness and command coordination for large-scale deployment operations.
“PRO-3 is fully committed to supporting NCRPO to ensure that the Nov. 30 activity remains peaceful, orderly, and safe for everyone. Our personnel are ready and have undergone the necessary preparations, including CDM simulation exercises, to respond professionally and effectively.”
“We remind our troops to observe maximum tolerance, respect the rights of all demonstrators, and stay guided by the standards of our service. Our role is clear, to help maintain peace and order and safeguard the community,” Penones said.
