Some local government units (LGUs) across Metro Manila have suspended classes on Tuesday, Nov. 25, as persistent rains continue to affect the region.
In the City of Manila, classes from kindergarten to senior high school (SHS) in both public and private schools were suspended starting 12 noon on Tuesday, Nov. 25, due to continuous rainfall and the risk of flooding in several communities.
Quezon City likewise called off classes in all levels earlier in the day, urging students and parents to remain cautious as rain affects major roads.
More LGUs in metro east announced class suspensions at all levels in both public and private schools:
San Juan City – All levels, public and private
Pasig City – In-person classes suspended from Pre-school to Grade 12, including ALS
Mandaluyong City – In-person classes suspended from Pre-school to Grade 12, including ALS
Local authorities continue to monitor weather conditions and advise residents to wait for further updates.
