NCRPO arrests all fugitives in Metro Manila's top 10 most wanted list
Operatives of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) arrested all the fugitives listed in the top 10 most wanted in Metro Manila for the month of November in a series of operations in the past days.
NCRPO director Maj. Gen. Anthony A. Aberin said the accounting of the wanted fugitives was based on what he described as sustained warrant enforcement operations across Metro Manila.
“District units carried out each arrest through coordinated intelligence checks, field validation, and direct service of warrants,” said Aberin.
The Manila Police District first secured the Rank 1 in the most wanted list while the Quezon City Police District later apprehended the Rank 3, who was sought for Qualified Rape and Acts of Lasciviousness.
The Eastern Police District likewise arrested the 5th most wanted who is sought for multiple counts of sexual assault and later apprehended the number 8 in the wanted list.
The Northern Police District operatives also secured the Rank 6 and Rank 7, both wanted for Rape. The MPD also collared the 9th most wanted while the QCPD secured the 10th most wanted.
The Southern Police District, on the other hand, arrested the 2nd and 4th most wanted persons in Metro Manila.
Aberin lauded his men for the rare feat of completing the arrest of all those in the ten most wanted list in just a matter of days.
