A symbolic gesture uniting the European Union ambassador, ambassadors and representatives from EU member states, where they presented their diverse fields of expertise
Organized by the EU Delegation to the Philippines in collaboration with Philippine higher education institutions and key partners, the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) 2025 showcased academic opportunities across Europe.
Filipino students, researchers, and academicians recently explored a world of opportunities at the EHEF 2025, a premier exhibit of the EU’s leading institutions in learning and research.

The opening ceremony featured a symbolic gesture uniting the European Union ambassadors and representatives from EU member states. Together, they presented their diverse fields of expertise and unveiled an image reflecting this year’s theme: “Pathways to Excellence.”
“We are pleased to have opened EHEF 2025 here in Manila. This fair offered Filipino students and researchers a unique opportunity to discover new pathways to excellence while strengthening the enduring partnership between the European Union and the Philippines,” said EU Ambassador Mariomassimo Santoro.
Held annually, EHEF has become a flagship initiative of the EU Delegation to the Philippines, positioning Europe as a hub of academic excellence. This year’s edition introduced new program sessions featuring Copernicus and Euraxess, expanding opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and global engagement.
EHEF 2025 was organized in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and regional hubs: University of Santo Tomas (Metro Manila); University of the Cordilleras (Luzon); Eastern Visayas State University (Visayas); and Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan (Mindanao). Additional university partners included Ateneo de Davao University, Caraga State University, De La Salle University, Far Eastern University, Holy Cross of Davao College, Lyceum of the Philippines–Manila Campus, Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, University of San Agustin, University of the Philippines Manila, and Visayas State University.
Professional organization partners were the National Academy of Science and Technology–Philippines, Philippine Architecture School Association, Philippine Computer Society, Philippine Economic Society, and United Architects of the Philippines.
This year’s fair brought together 99 exhibitors onsite and online from 15 EU member states: The Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Latvia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Austria, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, and Sweden.
EHEF 2025 was held at the Midtown Atrium of Robinsons Place Manila, Ermita, and concluded on Nov. 22, 2025.
