Miss Universe PH named Best National Pageant, Ahtisa takes 3rd in Beyond the Crown
Even as Miss Universe 2025 continues to face controversy over its final results, the Philippines came out strong in the post-pageant special awards held during the coronation party at the Grand Richmond Stylish Convention Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Miss Universe Philippines, headed by its CEO Jonas Gaffud, was awarded "Best National Pageant" in recognition of its world-class staging of the MUPH 2025 finals and its ability to train well-rounded, high-caliber candidates.
Meanwhile, Miss Universe 2025 third runner-up Ahtisa Manalo, who was widely considered one of the strongest performers in the pageant this year, was honored in the Beyond The Crown program, which is conducted separately from the Miss Universe competition. It recognizes contestants who excel in leadership, service, education, health, and inclusion.

Ahtisa’s ongoing work with Alon Akademie, which champions youth empowerment and accessible education, earned praise from the program’s independent panel.
She joined Paraguay's Yanina Gomez, who placed first, and the Netherlands' Nathalie Mogbelzada, who placed second.
Costa Rica's Mahyla Roth is awarded Most Photogenic.
Beyond the Crown became part of the pageant’s swirling controversy after judge Omar Harfouch implied that an unauthorized or impromptu jury had been formed and that the official judges had been excluded from the selection of the program's finalists.
This forced MUO to clarify in a press statement that the Beyond the Crown program functions completely independently, with its own selection committee, and is not tied to the judging of the Miss Universe finalists or winner.

Through its owner, Raul Rocha Cantu, the Miss Universe Organization also unveiled the Continental Queens, a set of regional honors distinct from the competition’s traditional runners-up.
Asia’s Queen was awarded to China’s Zhao Na, while Olivia Yacé of Côte d'Ivoire took the crown for Africa & Oceania. Malta’s Julia Cluett emerged as Europe & the Middle East’s winner, while Venezuela’s Stephany Abasali was appointed to represent the Americas.
