Man yields P374K shabu, firearm in Parañaque

Authorities arrested a man in possession of P374,000 worth of shabu and a firearm during a buy-bust operation on Saturday, Nov. 22.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as “Christopher,” who was apprehended by the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) along Lopez Jaena Extension, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.
Recovered from the suspect were 55 grams of shabu, a .45-caliber pistol, and a black sling bag.
Christopher is now detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility and faces charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2001) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
SPD Director Brig. Gen. Randy Arce commended the Parañaque City Police for the successful operation, which led to the arrest of a drug personality in possession of a significant quantity of illegal drugs and an unlicensed firearm.
