In a series of video messages over the weekend, former Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co claimed that President Marcos sought P100 billion worth of project insertions in the 2025 national budget, particularly during the Bicameral Conference Committee hearings.

Last Tuesday, the Visayan Bloc led by its convenor, Bacolod City lone district Rep. Albee Benitez came out with a statement praising President Marcos for launching an anti-corruption campaign.
This, after Philippine leader himself exposed the flood control projects corruption scandal.

"We champion the administration’s initiatives that advance structural reforms and long-term national resilience, particularly in strengthening agriculture and irrigation systems to ensure food security and higher rural production; investing in climate adaptation, disaster preparedness and environmental protection; enhancing education, skills development and youth empowerment programs that build a globally competitive workforce; and advancing peace, order and regional development initiatives that guarantee safety, stability, and equitable growth across all provinces, especially in Northern Luzon."
