Most Filipinos show their love for family and friends through food, and the holidays are when this tradition shines the brightest. From heirloom recipes to fresh experiments, the kitchen becomes the beating heart of every celebration. To help elevate the season, IKEA rolls out cookware essentials and festive décor that make holiday prep feel effortless and joyful.
IKEA sets the stage for the festivities with Flavors of Home: A Feastival by IKEA at Pasay City, a cooking and dining event that showcases the brand’s wide range of kitchen and dining pieces. More than highlighting their function and form, the festival celebrates the warmth of the Filipino family and the joy of gathering at home.
Dimples Romana, interior designer and content creator Elle Uy, and IKEA social media manager Kit Agoncillo, shared quick styling tips for a studio showroom using IKEA’s holiday pieces.

Guests explored IKEA’s holiday showrooms designed by interior designer Elle Uy, festive installations, and live food demonstrations by foodie creators Icoy Rapadas, Grace Tanfelix, and Mitch Ngo, joined by Will Ashley, with Dimples Romana hosting the event. A special performance by Angeline Quinto delighted the crowd as she serenaded guests with “Bituing Walang Ningning,” a playful nod to IKEA’s food storage line, its sustainability values, and the Filipino custom of “balutin” or “i-Sharon” leftovers. Rounding out the atmosphere, the philharmonic orchestra filled the store with Christmas music.
Hervy Nicholas, IKEA Philippines sales leader, explained the heart behind their holiday offerings, saying, “The Filipino way of celebrating the season is centered on family and food at home. IKEA wants to make it more special with our affordable kitchen and dining range. That's what drives us at IKEA: the joy we get from seeing people from all walks of life enjoying our pieces that are functional, beautiful, sustainable, and affordable.”
For home cooks gearing up for the big feasts, the company offers budget-friendly cookware that makes prep smoother. The Annons five-piece stainless steel set with glass lids is a crowd favorite, best paired with stainless steel trivets. Long-simmering dishes benefit from the non-stick Klippfisk sauté pan; daily frying is covered by the IKEA 365+ stainless steel pan and the non-stick Tagghaj. For quick stir-fries, the Hemlagad wok delivers, while the Hemlagad grill pan gives meats a solid sear. And for cooks short on time, the IKEA 365+ six-liter pressure cooker comes in clutch.
For simmering stews or sauces, the non-stick Klippfisk sauté pan with lid priced for ₱1,999 is a handy pick.

Once the cooking is done, it’s time to dress up the table. A 15-cm poinsettia adds a festive pop, while Vinterfint mixed or gold baubles offer a touch of shimmer. For noche buena, choose from the Vinterfint side plate, the earthy Sandskädda, or the striped elegance of Havsgädda—best paired with Storsint wine glasses and the IKEA 365+ carafe. Full spreads shine brighter on the green Pelarkaktus plate, the stone-like Gladelig plate, or the wooden Stolthet board. And for leftovers, the IKEA 365+ glass container with a bamboo lid keeps everything neat for the days ahead.
Whether you're cooking for the holidays or setting the table, IKEA offers practical pieces that make prep easier and celebrations feel more at home. It’s all about helping families share good food, good company, and the traditions that matter most.
