Zambales cops apprehend security guard for robbing bank manager
LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Police arrested a security guard who allegedly robbed a bank manager in Iba town, Zambales province.
Police Regional Office-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Penones said the suspect Ger robbed the victim Lopez on Monday, Nov. 17, of P670,070 at gunpoint.
Ger fled on board a stolen tricycle owned by Henry and abandoned it in Barangay Dirita, Iba.
Police mounted a follow-up operation and three days later on Thursday, Nov. 20, the suspect was spotted and apprehended inside a bar in Barangay Pagatpat, Santa Cruz town, Zambales.
Recovered from him were a caliber .38 revolver, a sachet of suspected shabu, grenade, and cash.
The suspect charges for robbery, carnapping, and illegal drugs.
