Thief steals garments from clothesline, motorcycle in Marikina

The Marikina City Police is currently on the hunt for a thief who stole garments from a clothesline and a motorcycle in Barangay Tumana, Marikina City, the authorities said Thursday, Nov. 20.

According to the police investigation, the suspect was caught on CCTV stealing clothes at around 3 a.m. last Nov, 18, before taking with him a parked motorcycle.

The victim noticed his motorcycle missing at around 6 a.m., prompting him to immediately report the theft to the barangay and the police.

The police recovered the victim's abandoned motorcycle along the side of the road with its electrical wiring and chassis disassembled.

They said the suspect probably failed to start the vehicle, forcing him to abandon it.

Barangay officials said the suspect may not be a resident of Barangay Tumana, as no one knows him from the area.
