Forbes Town illuminated the holiday skies with “Celestial Christmas Glow,” a heartwarming celebration that brought together art, pets, and the vibrant spirit of community. The ceremonial lighting of its 30-foot Christmas tree marked the start of a season that radiates togetherness, creativity, and compassion—true to the township’s character as one of Metro Manila’s most pet-loving destinations.
The tree lighting ceremony was led by Hon. Mayor Lani Cayetano of Taguig City and Congressman Jorge Bocobo, joined by Graham Coates, head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls; Batch Famatiga, general manager of Forbes Town; Jonathan Que, president of Bonifacio West Development Corporation; Japanese pop artist Hiroki “Hiro” Ichikawa, whose colorful outdoor art installation stood as the evening’s centerpiece; and Jee Antonio of Project Kuna.
This year, Forbes Town puts a spotlight on its pet-friendly initiatives through a collaboration with Hiro, known for his whimsical, emotionally expressive animal artworks. His latest creation, “Cosmic Companions,” features two larger-than-life sculptures—a deep purplish-blue dog and a bright yellow cat—painted with planets, stars, and rockets. The installation captures the essence of curiosity, courage, kindness, and imagination, reminding visitors that harmony and beauty emerge when differences coexist in unity.

A passionate pet advocate himself, Hiro introduced a limited-edition collection inspired by “Cosmic Companions,” featuring pet portraits and merchandise available for sale in Forbes Town. Proceeds from the collection will support the rescue and care programs of Project Kuna, a non-profit animal welfare organization, transforming this collaboration into a meaningful fusion of art and advocacy that embodies the true spirit of Christmas for our four-legged friends.
Complementing the celestial display, the Christmas tree sparkled with colorful ornaments, while festive lights and glowing snowflakes illuminated Forbes Town Road, turning the lively streetscape into a starlit wonderland.
Forbes Town also recognized its partner restaurants, Locavore and Mamacita, included in the 2026 Michelin Selected Guide list, together with Brick Corner, a Michelin Bib Gourmand awardee. With these milestones, Forbes Town welcomes guests to celebrate the season with exceptional dining experiences crafted by its award-winning restaurants.
“This season celebrates the bonds that make our community truly special — people, pets, and the shared stories that bring light into our lives,” said Graham Coates, head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls. “Forbes Town has always been a place where art, nature, and relationships thrive. This Christmas, we celebrate the connections, memories, and experiences that make every moment here meaningful.”
Throughout the season, Forbes Town invites guests and their pets to experience a series of festive activities that bring the spirit of Christmas to life—from Santa Meet & Greet sessions at Burgos Park and performances by modern a cappella groups, to special appearances by holiday mascots spreading cheer across the township.
Forbes Town’s Celestial Christmas Glow continues to shine as a symbol of artistry, compassion, and community — where every light, pawprint, and smile reflects the heart of the holidays.
