ArenaPlus official ambassador Miguel Tabuena sets to celebrate his historic win in the International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus
After his historic gold finish at the International Series Philippines (ISP) presented by BingoPlus, ArenaPlus is set to host a victory celebration for its official golf ambassador, Miguel Tabuena, on Thursday, Nov. 27 in Taguig City.
Tabuena was among the pool of Filipino golfers who competed in the Philippine leg of the International Series. Played on his home course at Sta. Elena Golf Club, the 31-year-old delivered a stellar performance with rounds of 69, 65, 65, and 65 — highlighted by five eagles and a hole-in-one — which earned him his 22nd professional title.
In his previous interviews, Tabuena expressed how significant his win was for the Filipinos. “It means a lot to be able to play on home soil and a dream come true to be coming into the tournament and get the win,” he said. “At the end of the day it’s always nice to see a Filipino flag at the top.”
Following his strong performance in the ISP presented by BingoPlus, Tabuena went on to compete in the International Series legs in Hong Kong and Singapore, and is now vying for victory at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) Saudi International.
The celebration will be attended by Tabuena’s family and friends, members of the media, and ArenaPlus, which has been a steadfast supporter throughout his ISP journey. It will also be a celebration of purpose, as Tabuena and ArenaPlus are set to announce a corporate social responsibility project to support the next generation of Filipino golfers.
