Agency denies Korean actress Shin Min-a pregnant following marriage announcement

The agency of Korean celebrity couple Shin Min-a, 41, and Kim Woo-bin, 36, denied that the actress is pregnant. 

Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin announced through agency AM Entertainment that they are getting married on Dec. 20 after being together for 10 years. 

The sudden announcement sparked speculations of premarital pregnancy but the agency denied this. 

"It is absolutely not a premarital pregnancy," AM Entertainment said, Korean media outlet Star News reported on Nov. 20. 

The agency said the wedding will be held at The Shilla Seoul hotel. 

"Aside from confirming the wedding venue at the Shilla Hotel, nothing has been decided yet, including the officiant, MC, or congratulatory singer,” the agency added.

The agency earlier issued a statement about the marriage. 

“We would like to share the exciting news of actors Shin Min-a and Kim Woo-bin, both affiliated with AM Entertainment,” the agency said. Actress Shin Min-a and actor Kim Woo-bin have promised to be each other's companions, based on the deep trust they have built through their long relationship,” it said. 

It added, “Their wedding will be held privately on December 20 at a location in Seoul, with only their families, relatives, and close friends in attendance. We ask for your warm support and blessings for the couple who have made this important life decision. They will continue to focus on their acting careers and strive to repay the love you have shown them.”

Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a admitted their romantic relationship in July 2015 after their date photos were published by a Korean media outlet. 

Last Nov. 13, Shin Min-a attended the Disney+ Original Preview at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort to introduce her next series “The Remarried Empress.”
