Virtual K-pop idol group Plave, ITZY top weekly album chart

Virtual K-pop boy band Plave set another record by garnering a million copies in sales for their “single” album “PLBBUU.” 

According to Hanteo Chart, “PLBBUU” topped the weekly album chart for Nov. 10 to 16, garnering sales of 1.09 million copies or an equivalent of 1.04 million points in physical record index, a combination of sales and album price used by the chart to rank albums. 

This is the highest first-week sales of any album released by Plave to date.

K-pop girl group ITZY’s “Tunnel Vision” ranked second in the weekly album chart with 387,278  copies sold or a PRI of 409,910.7 points. 

Close Your Eyes’ “Blackout” ranked third with 567,912 copies sold or 272,073.62 points in physical record index. 

BTS’ Jin’s “Happy” is fourth with 21,442 copies sold or a PRI of 74,839.27 points, followed by Yeonjun’s “No Labels: Part 01” with 54,800 copies sold or a PRI 71,995.05 for the week.
