Muntinlupa City Hall, 9 barangay halls declared drug-free workplaces

The Muntinlupa City Hall and all the nine barangay halls in the city have been declared drug-free workplaces.
An oversight committee composed of the city government and national government agencies issued the declaration.
This is the second time since 2023 that the Muntinlupa City Hall has been declared a drug-free workplace.
The city government said the Muntinlupa City Hall Is the first and only local government unit (LGU) in Metro Manila to be given a reaffirmed drug-free status in 2025.
All the nine barangay halls in Muntinlupa – Tunasan, Poblacion, Putatan, Bayanan, Alabang, Cupang, Buli, Sucat, and Ayala Alabang were also certified as drug-free workplaces.

Last year, the Muntinlupa enforced Ordinance 2024-230, “lnstitutionalizing The Drug-Free lnstitution Program, Granting A Financial lncentive System and Providing Funds Therefore.”
Part of the requirement is the conduct of drug testing among employees.
“Patuloy na nagpapakita ang Muntinlupa ng ehemplo sa buong NCR—isang lungsod na mas ligtas, mas disiplinado, at mas handang lumaban kontra droga para sa kapakanan ng bawat Muntinlupeño, sa pangunguna ng Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Office (DAPCO Muntinlupa) na patuloy na nagpapatibay at nagpapaigting ng lahat ng drug prevention and intervention programs ng lungsod (Muntinlupa continues to set an example for the entire NCR—a city that is safer, more disciplined, and more prepared to fight drugs for the benefit of every Muntinlupeño, led by the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Office (DAPCO Muntinlupa), which continues to strengthen and intensify all the city's drug prevention and intervention programs),” Mayor Ruffy Biazon stated.
