After securing the gold medal in the Individual Category and Team Category in the Metal Silhouette (MS) 10-Meter Air Pistol Event with 32 out of possible 40 metal animal targets, Dinopol tallied an identical scores of 8 out of 10 in the Ram, Turkey, Boar and Chicken targets.
Dinopol also got the gold in team category together with national shooter Daniel Canton and veteran Richard Acoymo both with 28 for a team total of 88.
The Ateneo Rifle and Pistol Team (ARPT) took the silver medals in the individual and team categories courtesy of graduating student Krizza Jane Reynon’s 31 (good for silver in the individual), plus the 27 of coach Michael Go and 25 from third-year student Robert Allan Juan for a team total of 83.
Ateneo first year student Vicente Antonio Deoduco secured the bronze medal in the individual category with 29, narrowly beating Canton, Acoymo and ADMU lecturer Jeffrey Jongko, who each scored 28.
Getting the bronze medal in the team category are ADMU team members Deoduco, second year student Fraulene Love Engallado with 23 and sophomore Gian Ricardo Valdez with 21.
The ARPT were the defending gold medalists in the individual and team categories in last year’s 46th SEASA Philippines 2024, held at the same venue.
Meanwhile in the MS Air Rifle, ADMU second year student Gabriel Dimapilis won the gold with a total score of 29 points. National shooter Canton got his second medal of the day with silver after scoring 28 points as ADMU sophomore Eidrian Malabanan copped the bronze medal with 21 points.
