932 graduates with Latin honors, board exam takers receive incentives in Pasig
A total of 600 college and technical-vocational graduates with Latin honors/honors and 332 bar and board exam takers in Pasig City received incentives and financial assistance during an awarding ceremony at the Pasig Elementary School Gymnasium on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

During the awarding, 22 summa cum laude graduates received P30,000 each; 109 magna cum laude graduates received P25,000 each; and 468 cum laude graduates received P20,000 each.
One salutatorian from a technical-vocational program also received P5,000.
Meanwhile, 332 board and bar exam takers received P10,000 in financial assistance. They included examinees from the 3rd quarter exams, some of whom were still awaiting their results or had their exams rescheduled. The assisted programs included the Bar, Civil Engineering, Criminology, Food Technology, Librarianship, Master Plumber, Mechanical Engineering, Teaching, Psychometrics, Electrical Engineering, and Social Work.
Mayor Vico Sotto, together with Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski, Councilor Simon Tantoco, and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President Keil Custillas, attended the ceremony and delivered congratulatory messages.
Their messages focused on the vital role of the youth in building a future grounded in good governance and institutions strengthened by integrity through their respective fields.
The incentives and financial assistance were administered by the Pasig City Scholarship Office under the Pasig City Education Department–Scholarships and Awards Section.
The Pasig City Scholarship Office said the awardees were Pasig Scholars. Meanwhile, incentives for non-Pasig Scholar college honor graduates were scheduled for distribution on Thursday, Nov. 20.
