Malacañang has reiterated that President Marcos will not undergo hair follicle drug test, saying he will not give in to any provocation from his critics.
Responding to the dare of Senator Imee Marcos that she would agree to undergo a DNA test if the President agrees to do a hair follicle test, Palace Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said Marcos will not be swayed by such demand as the issue has long been resolved.
Matagal na po itong naresolba (We will repeat it, again and again; we will keep repeating it. We will not be swayed by what the loud critics are saying. This has long been resolved)," Castro said in a Palace briefing on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
The President is clean, and the President will not give in to any provocation—provocation from destabilizers, provocation from obstructionists whose only aim is to set conditions and issue demands to the President even when these no longer align with his work)," Castro stressed.
The Palace official has once again criticized the move of the senator—alleging the First Family of drug use—which demonstrated her support to people who have issues with corruption and other crimes.
So, as we all know, I will repeat it again, he protects people who have issues with corruption more; he protects people who have admitted to being murderers more than his own sibling, who is simply conducting investigations to eliminate and curb corruption in the country)," Castro said.
On Monday night, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) sister claimed that her brother and his family are using illegal drugs. This has been debunked by the Palace multiple times, and even called the senator's recent remarks as "desperate moves."
