ASUS raised the bar for mobile productivity at the Grand Launch of the Expert Series. These new models arrive packed with impressive specs sheets and cutting-edge AI, delivering a compelling answer to the needs of the always-mobile professionals.
But the main draw for these laptops is their reliability and durability, ensuring a seamless workflow. These laptops are built to last physically and certified to meet the rigorous US military-grade MIL-STD-810H durability standards. Just to name a few, these laptops underwent the following tests:
- Rump pressure test
- Panel Pressure test
- Drop test at 120cm
- Water Spill Resistance test
- Hinge test
- I/O Port Test and many more
The launch event also featured activities that attendees could participate in. This included the aforementioned tests to showcase the Expert Series’ capabilities. Here, we saw drop tests and spill tests to showcase how the Expert Series can survive tough environments and situations. There is also the panel pressure test, where the laptop is closed with a pen inside. This is to highlight that both the screen and hinges are durable and resistant to damage.
During our interview with ASUS’ Corporate Vice President, Rex Lee, he shared his thoughts on the meaning of a “worry-free business.” He introduced his point referencing ASUS’ original founder, Ted Hsu—Vice Chairman.
“Our leadership has the passion to create great products. We have to make sure the customer is happy with our product, using ASUS products in their business, and they don’t need to have any worry.”
Commercial Business Head of ASUS Philippines, Francis Avila, also shared some of his thoughts on the Expert Series: “...Aside from having powerful and complete connectivity, we also want to use AI in all our devices”, providing users with Copilot+ PCs specifically for work—enabling expert-level AI functions like on-device meeting assistance, live translation/captioning, visual generation, and recall of past work, so professionals can streamline their day-to-day tasks to enhance productivity and perform tasks more efficiently.
Avila also cites manageability solutions such as the ASUS Control Center, ASUS BIOS, and the ASUS Diagnostics Centers, all of which allow users to monitor and launch immediate checkups to scan errors and repair them without hindering operations.
“For a small company or an individual user these may not be very important,” Avila said. “But if you are an entrepreneur managing 10, 15, 20, or 50 devices, you have to take care of the assets you give to your employees. You have to make sure your investment is secured.”
“So these solutions guarantee that not just the user, but even IT professionals who manage these devices will have tools for the work,” he added.
Lee added that ASUS has the whole team in the Philippines and the company has strong ambitions. “Our infrastructure is ready to grow to number one in three years; that is the goal.”
Throughout the years, ASUS has always featured a lineup of interesting devices. Known for delivering innovative devices that solve problems for performance, functionality, and portability. All of this is part of ASUS’ worry-free business, from their hardware and software solutions, to ensure businesses have continuous operations.
