ILOILO CITY — Thirteen new bomb threats were received in schools here and the province of Iloilo on Tuesday, Nov. 18, following 10 on Monday, Nov. 17, for a total of 23 in just two days.
The fresh bomb threats – seven in Iloilo City and six Iloilo – disrupted classes again.
The first to receive a bomb threat Tuesday was Central Philippine University (CPU) in Iloilo City. CPU also had a bomb threat on Monday afternoon.
Other schools in Iloilo City that received bomb threats Tuesday were Colegio de San Jose (CSJ), Iloilo Doctors’ College (IDC), Iloilo City National High School (ICNHS), Jalandoni Memorial National High School (INHS), Ramon Avanceña National High School (RANHS), and University of San Agustin (USA).
In Iloilo, bomb threats were made at the WVSU campus in Janiuay town, Janiuay National Comprehensive High School, Carvasana National High School in Calinog, and three campuses of the Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) in the towns of Estancia, Concepcion, and Ajuy.
Twenty-six bomb threats have been sent to different schools in Iloilo since November 12.
A bomb threat was also recorded in Antique province on Tuesday. Classes were canceled at Saint Anthony’s College in the capital of San Jose de Buenavista.
