'Salvage' victim found in Lucena City

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A suspected ‘’salvage’’ or summary execution victim was found in Barangay Ilayang Dupay here on Monday morning, Nov. 16.
The victim was approximately 5’7” in height, wearing T-shirt and shorts, and covered in mud.
A resident pasturing a cow discovered the body in a grassy area near a public transportation terminal at around 8:30 a.m.
Forensics probers are conducting autopsy on the victim’s body.
Police are facing a blank wall as there is no surveillance cameras in the area.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
