Over P241,000 shabu seized from 2 drug suspects in Las Piñas sting

Police arrested two suspected drug pushers after they yielded P241,400 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Las Piñas City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Nov. 15.
Col. Sandro Tafalla, Las Piñas police chief, identified the suspects as Shaggy, 35; and Michael, 33, listed as a street-level drug pusher. They were arrested at Nuyog Dulo, Barangay Talon Singo, Las Piñas City.
The operation resulted in the seizure of 35.5 grams of shabu worth P241,400 and a red coin purse containing the P500 buy-bust money.
The confiscated shabu was submitted to the SPD Forensic Unit for laboratory analysis.
The suspects were charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. They are now detained at the SDEU custodial facility.
