Two men were apprehended by police in Malolos City, Bulacan, after they were caught using unauthorized blinkers on a pickup truck during patrol operations on Saturday, Nov. 15.
Malolos Police Chief Lt. Col. Rommel Geneblazo said that a personnel flagged down a white pick-up truck after noticing the illegal blinkers.
During the inspection, police saw a Caliber .45 pistol with a magazine loaded with 10 bullets in plain view.
The suspects failed to present any documents for the firearm or the use of the blinkers.
They were placed under arrest, and the firearm and ammunition were confiscated.
The suspects were brought to the Malolos City Police Station for proper documentation.
An investigation is ongoing to verify their identities and determine why they were in possession of the illegal items.
