Held from October 23 to 25, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, the “UAAGI On The Move” exhibit gathered New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) from its distributed marques BAIC, Chery, Foton, Jetour, Lynk & Co, and Radar.
Electrified line-up for every segment
The display featured fully electric, plug-in hybrid, and range-extending models across several categories, addressing a wide range of Filipino buyers, from family users to adventure enthusiasts.
From BAIC came the B60e Beaumont REV, a seven-seat SUV that combines traditional utility with electrified capability. It uses a 40.3 kWh battery and a range extender that allows travel of up to 1,200 km. The vehicle supports an 800 mm water-wading depth and includes a 13-speaker Infinity Audio system by Harman. Priced at ₱3,398,000, it represents BAIC’s entry into the growing segment of extended-range hybrids designed for larger families.
Chery displayed the Tiggo rEV Luxury Edition, a plug-in hybrid SUV using a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and an 18.66 kWh battery. With 201 PS and 310 Nm, it can cover about 1,400 km on a full tank and charge. The seven-seat layout and modest pricing at ₱1,528,000 make it one of the more accessible electrified family vehicles currently on offer.
Foton presented the Traveller Sierra EV, a 12-seat electric van powered by a 77.28 kWh battery with a rated range of 303 km. It produces 181 PS and 330 Nm of torque and supports DC fast charging that can replenish the battery in about an hour. Priced from ₱2,500,000, it highlights the brand’s move toward zero-emission people movers.
Jetour brought two plug-in hybrid SUVs: the T1 Lightning i-DM and the T2 Lightning i-DM with a more upscale interior. Both share a 26.7 kWh battery and a 255 PS system output, with an electric-only range of about 117 km. They support quick charging and vehicle-to-load power output. The T1 starts at ₱1,798,000 while the T2 begins at ₱2,488,000.
Lynk & Co’s 08 EM-P served as UAAGI’s flagship hybrid SUV at the summit. It produces 381 PS and 615 Nm, capable of reaching 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. The vehicle can travel up to 205 km in electric mode and up to 1,400 km in combined operation. The 08 EM-P starts at ₱2,498,000.
Radar introduced the RD6 EM-P pickup truck, a fully electric five-seater with a claimed range exceeding 1,000 km. It carries up to 800 kg of payload, wades through 815 mm of water, and reaches 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. Displayed with a full Overland Kings camping setup, it signaled Radar’s focus on functional, recreational EV applications.
Promoting accessibility and awareness
Visitors at the UAAGI booth were invited to test drive select models and receive exclusive merchandise, while special deals and promotional offers were made available during the three-day event. The company said the “UAAGI On The Move” roadshow was created to make the car buying process more convenient and to introduce sustainable options to a wider audience.
UAAGI described the initiative as a way to bring its brands closer to Filipino consumers by offering a single venue to explore multiple electric and hybrid models. The company said it aims to simplify the transition to cleaner mobility by allowing buyers to see and experience various technologies firsthand.
Looking ahead
UAAGI’s presence at the summit reflected its intent to keep expanding its electrified lineup in the Philippines. Public response to its wide mix of electric and hybrid models has been encouraging, with visitors showing interest in both family-oriented and performance-focused options.
The wide range of vehicles on display emphasized how quickly the market for New Energy Vehicles is developing, demonstrating the importance of offering different powertrain choices, from plug-in hybrids to fully electric models, that suit local driving needs and infrastructure readiness.
