Mandaluyong City issues traffic rerouting plan ahead of 3-day INC rallies

The Mandaluyong City local government has released a traffic management plan to mitigate the anticipated disruption of traffic in the city as the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) religious group holds its three-day anti-corruption demonstrations at the EDSA Shrine on Nov. 16 to 18.

The city government, through its City Traffic and Parking Management Department (CTPMD), advised the public about the expected heavy traffic congestion in the vicinity of Ortigas–EDSA, particularly in the northbound and southbound lanes approaching the protest site.

To ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety, the following rerouting scheme will be implemented:

EDSA Northbound to Pasig City and Rizal Plan A

• EDSA northbound turn right to Guadix Rd.

• Guadix Rd. turn right to ADB Ave.

• ADB Ave. turn left to Doña Julia Vargas Ave.

• Doña Julia Vargas Ave. turn left to C-5 Rd.

• C-5 Rd. turn right to Ortigas Ave.

EDSA Northbound to Quezon City Plan A

• EDSA northbound turn left to Ortigas Ave. Flyover

• Ortigas Ave, turn right to Bonny Serrano Ave.

• Bonny Serrano Ave. Ave. turn left to EDSA

EDSA Northbound to San Juan City Plan A

• EDSA Northbound turn left to Ortigas Ave. Flyover

Pasig City and Rizal to EDSA Southbound Plan A

• Ortigas Ave. westbound turn left to Meralco Ave.

• Meralco Ave. turn right to Doña Julia Vargas Ave.

• Doña Julia Vargas Ave. turn left to San Miguel Ave.

• San Miguel Ave. turn right to Shaw Blvd.

• Shaw Blvd. turn left to EDSA

Pasig City and Rizal to Quezon City Plan A

• Ortigas Ave. eastbound turn left to Meralco Ave,

• Meralco Ave: turn right to Doña Julia Vargas Ave- Robineon

• Doña Julia Vargas Ave. turn right to EDSA

• EDSA turn left to Ortigas Ave. Flyover

• Ortigas Ave. turn right to Bonny Serrano Ave

• Bonny Serrano Ave. turn left to EDSA

Pasig City and Rizal to San Juan City Plan A

• Ortigas Ave. eastbound turn left to Meralco Ave.

• Meralco Ave. turn right to Doña Julia Vargas Ave.

• Doña Julia Vargas Ave. turn right to EDSA

• EDSA turn left to Ortigas Ave. Flyover

Quezon City to Pasig City and Rizal Plan A

• EDSA southbound make a u-turn to EDSA-Crossing going to EDSA northbound

• EDSA northbound turn right to Doña Julia Vargas Ave.

• Doña Julia Vargas Ave. turn left to C-5 Rd.

• C-5 Rd. turn right to Ortigas Ave.
