SPD to deploy 610 personnel for INC rallies on Nov. 16 to 18
The Southern Police District (SPD) will deploy a total of 610 personnel to provide security coverage throughout the duration of Iglesia Ni Cristo's (INC) rally for transparency on Nov. 16 to 18.
SPD Director Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo said the deployed personnel include members from the District Mobile Force Battalion, District Headquarters personnel, and District Support Units.
Areco said that the SPD’s deployment plan is designed to ensure orderly conduct, smooth traffic management, and immediate response to any untoward incidents, while safeguarding the rights and safety of all attendees.
In preparation for the demonstrations, the SPD held an inspection of all personnel assigned for deployment.
The SPD chief said the inspection ensured that officers were fully equipped, in proper uniform, and operationally ready to perform their duties.
It also reinforced the importance of professional conduct, discipline, and attention to detail among the deployed personnel.
A guidance briefing that emphasized the core principles of maximum tolerance, strict discipline, and heightened alertness was also held during the inspection.
Arceo encouraged the officers to remain vigilant, proactive, and courteous in all their interactions during the rally, stressing that police officers are partners of the community in promoting a safe and secure environment for all.
