Over P400K marijuana, kush seized in Parañaque buy-bust

A 29-year-old man was arrested by members of the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit during the conduct of a buy-bust operation and confiscated P400,400 worth of marijuana and kush from him.

The suspect, identified as Mer, was arrested at around 1:05 a.m. on Nov. 14 at Marimar 2, Barangay Sun Valley, Parañaque City.

The police said the suspect sold a sachet of marijuana to an undercover police operative, which led to his arrest.

Seized from the suspect were 285 grams of marijuana and kush amounting to P400,400, a black Samsung mobile phone used in the transaction, and other drug paraphernalia.

Mer was detained at the Parañaque City Police Station custodial facility and charged for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II, of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
